Watching this has made me extremely excited to see the man himself, Bruno Mars, live next week. Incredible!

Cath Kidston Scrapbook (Cath Kidston Stationery)
I've ordered this little beauty of a Cath Kidston scrapbook to fill with photos and memories of Lily's first year in the world as a gift for her first birthday. It will be 100 pages of a fairytale. My night's will be full of creativity, and I'll love it!

I can't believe how quick this year has gone. We're nearly is 2012, if you didn't know! My first wedding anniversary has been and gone, it's my 20th birthday in less than a month, then it's that time of year when everyone's all merry, and soon after Lily will be a whole 1 year old. Crazy. Madness. Just so unbelievable how quickly she's grown and she's no longer that baby that could just lie there.

Introducing Lily, my daughter, the poser...

No more photos, Mummy!

Winter's here

Time to wrap up in some chunky knits, leggings and boots, teamed with must needed gloves and a cute satchel.

All Topshop of course!

And the serious hunt for our first family home begins tonight. Any help is appreciated.

Rainy day

But I didn't get rained on today, because I was in the car at 0730, posing in front of Chris Harris' camera at 0900, back in the car at 1100, and starting work at 1200. From 1630 onwards, I was showering thelittle lady in my life with a serious amount of love, laughter and tasty treats.

I can't wait to see the photos from today, and hopefully we got a winning photo for Ben! My vamped up purple smackers looked incredible.

To finish off this short but sweet post, I will share my excitment by saying that this little white beauty will be mine in a months time. A little bit in love. Bye bye Blackberry. I won't miss you.

Week roundup

On Tuesday, Jay and I had the day off so instead of staying in all day, we decided to make the most of it and took Lily on a trip to White Post Farm Park. We practically had the whole park to ourselves. It was a chilly day, thankfully no rain, but I love wrapping up warm on Autumn/Winter days.

Such a happy girl!

And I became the bird lady!

I was back in the salon on Saturday for another new change of hair. It's always exciting because I never know what it's going to end up like. That's what you get for hair modelling! Luckily, I haven't yet disliked any styles. This is for Tuesday's shoot for Ben's collection. Exciting stuff! But I haven't got much hair left to play with now.

Birthday and Xmas wish list

Faux fur coat
Brown ankle boots
Dress for my birthday night out
Jewellery box
More jewellery to go inside said box
Onesie
New book
Bunch of roses

And most importantly, love, happiness and good health.

Take note!

I will most probably add to this list.

New job

Turns out I'm not meant to be sat behind a desk 40 hours a week. Whilst on maternity leave with Lily, I decided I needed a change. I didn't want to be working full-time and never having time to see Lily, nor did I want to be unhappy at work.
So I went in the total opposite direction and landed myself a part-time job in every girl's favourite shop, Topshop! And I couldn't be happier.
Everyone's so lovely that I work with and within my first month, I've really started to feel comfortable working there.
The downside?! Seeing every single piece of clothing, jewellery, shoes etc. and wanting to buy it all!

Flash Bang Wallop

A couple months ago, an awesome man named Darren Black let me pose for him. I loved working with him and greatly appreciate the opportunity he gave me. Fantastic experience for my first test shoot! You can find some of his work on his blog.

Here are the results from our shoot.

The first of many years

Saturday was our first wedding anniversary. There'll be plenty of wedding anniversary's to come, but never again will we experience our first (unless we want to dish out a load of money again). So we just went full on romantic and created our ideal date night; shopping, meal, drinks, hotel. And it was beautiful!

Dressed smart/cas for a freak October night heat wave completed with my 5inch wedges. LOVE!

I've got a huge sweet tooth. I'd happily go out for dinner and straight away ask for the dessert menu. Get straight to the good stuff, no messing about! But I was naughty and had a main and TWO desserts. But on was only a shot size so I'll forgive myself. Jay and I couldn't resist these little delights.
